Hotel operator Jumeirah Group discontinued management of the Bab Al Shams Desert Resort & Spa and The Meydan Hotel on January 1, 2011. Both deluxe hotels were transferred to their owner Meydan.
A spokesman for the Jumeirah Group has confirmed that the Meydan Hotel and Bab Al Shams Desert Resort & Spa have returned to Meydan LLC's "fold".
