Dubai Visa Office Opened to Serve Tourists

The Department of Residency and Foreigners Affairs of Dubai has confirmed the information on the opening of its new office at the tourist visa issuing center in the port of Rashid. The new office was opened at the end of November and served its first numerous “customers”. It is expected that, thanks to the opening of this office, the department’s staff will be able to faster and better serve the ever-growing flow of tourists arriving in Dubai by sea. “We are doing our best to provide full support to the country's tourism sector,” said Colonel Salah bin Sulum, Assistant Director General of the Residency Department. “Our main task is to speed up and facilitate the process of issuing tourist visas to visiting tourists. We want this process to be the least complicated and most convenient and simple for them.” With the start of the new tourist season, large cruise ships began arriving at the Rashid Dubai port. In particular, not so long ago, a Seven Sea Marine cruise ship arrived at the port, bringing 1,124 passengers and crew to Dubai.
