Many cosmetic brands try to add more natural ingredients to their products. How many new collections supporting the idea of returning to nature have been created at Molton Brown, say, in the last two to three years?
Maintaining a balance between natural ingredients and scientific research has always been a priority in the production of Molton Brown cosmetics. We are constantly working to ensure that all our products comply with the highest environmental safety standards, without stopping the search for new ingredients and elements for it.
Can we hope to open the Molton Brown brand spa in Dubai or neighboring emirates?
At the moment, we have no plans to open spa centers in the Middle East region.
Please tell us why Molton Brown products are so popular and about the natural ingredients used to create them?
We will not mislead our consumers, saying that our products with the addition of natural plant extracts and components are organic, even if we take into account that some of the ingredients we work with are actually extracted from the purest "organic" sources from around the world. But we cannot name our products 100% natural or organic. Molton Brown's philosophy is to ensure that its products always contain the purest plant extracts and minerals needed to care for skin, body and hair. Perhaps this is the secret of their popularity.
Which of the Molton Brown cosmetic lines could you call the “best seller worldwide,” and what is best sold in the Middle East?
I would say that our three lines are especially popular both in the world and in the region. Among the collections of home fragrance products is the Naran Ji line, which consists of liquid soap, hand lotion, air freshener and candles with the scent of luxurious Florida oranges and grapefruit seeds, enriched with vitamins C, E and antioxidants. Those who “like it hotter” choose a line of ginger based products. A complete set of products contains aromas of tuberose, ginger, cardamom, uplifting. A product line based on Madagascar black pepper is equally well bought by both men and women. Especially here in Dubai.
How can you rate the work of Dubai's Molton Brown boutique?
Our boutique in Dubai shows remarkable results. People come from all corners of the globe and are surprised to learn that Molton Brown products, which are familiar to them when traveling to England, Australia, the United States, or Southeast Asian countries, can be purchased here.
What is ahead?
The high demand for Molton Brown products has pushed us to expand distribution in the region. Now MB can be bought in Abu Dhabi, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.
