Russian model Victoria Odintsova, who starred in a crazy video on the roof of a skyscraper in the UAE, plans to return to Dubai and expects rewards for "revealing shortcomings in the building's security system."
The editors of The National, a popular newspaper in the UAE, received a letter from Russian model Victoria Odintsova, written in Russian.
In her letter, Victoria assures that she did not plan and is not going to repeat her crazy act, and also said that she was worthy of a reward for having allowed her to reveal significant problems with the security system of the Cayan Tower skyscraper.
“We earned the award for discovering the security weaknesses of this building,” wrote Odintsova in Russian. "We were on the roof of this building without any malicious intent, but someone could have come there to commit suicide or even a terrorist attack." Victoria also reported that the building for the painted stunt was chosen "randomly."
After the Russian extremals entered the tower and proceeded to the elevators, “no one asked us questions, no one asked for our identification cards or other documents,” Victoria said. “We went up to the roof, spent 40 minutes there. For all the time we spent on the roof, the guards never showed up. Then we went out,” she added.
Recall that the occasion for a heated discussion was a detailed video about how young people, including the famous Russian ruffer Oleg Cricket and model Victoria Odintsova, penetrated the roof of the Cayan Tower in Dubai. The video, on which the girl hangs without insurance from the roof of a 306-meter tower in the Dubai Marina area, received more than two and a half million views on YouTube.
Immediately after the video was published, representatives of the Cayan Group stated that they "strongly condemn the trick that was performed without insurance and any precautionary measures." Dubai police also reacted to the incident - Major General Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Assistant Chief of the Dubai Police Criminal Investigation Department, said that criminal cases could be opened against extremists who entered the roof of a skyscraper, because the model could fall off and fall on pedestrians in a busy tourist quarter. He also clarified that a summons was written in the name of the girl. Dubai police are counting on her to come and sign a promise not to endanger her life in the future.
