Dubai, festival and winter

How fleeting is the time. You notice this only when once again you need to give an announcement of some traditional annual events and events taking place in the UAE. Vedasl just recently, the Dubai Government initiated the first Dubai Trade Festival in the history of the Emirates, and this year it will be held for the 15th time!

So, the annual, beloved, traditional Dubai Trade Festival 2010 (DTF) starts on January 28 and will be held until February 28 under the motto "One world. One family. One festival"! These dates have been officially announced by the Dubai Festivals Office.

By the way, we recall that Dubai Shopping was not always a winter festival. At the very beginning of its holding (in the late 1990s), it delighted lovers of quality and profitable shopping and family vacations from March to April and lasted almost a month (!). The then dates of its holding were, in general, justified - the winter seasonal discounts had already ended in stores, and the summer ones were still far away, so Dubai was inviting those who did not have time to visit it for the New Year holidays and for some reason did not want to come in the summer. And the motto of the DTF was changed by the organizers every year until the onset of a new century, when in 2000, it finally became what we know it today.

For fifteen years of its history, the Dubai Trade Festival has become one of the most beloved events in the region, which attracts thousands of guests from different countries. Thanks in large part to the DTF, Dubai has become a leadingm center for shopping and family entertainment in the Middle East.

Leila Suheil, chief executive officer of the Dubai Trade Festival, said: “The 15th anniversary of the DTF will be special in every way. We decided to challenge ourselves and show the world that Dubai Trade is not just a festival, it is a global event that attracts Dubai is one of the fastest growing cities in the world, so the 15th edition of the Dubai Trade Festival is designed to fully reflect all the changes that occur in the emir those".

Well hello new festival! With prizes, gifts, lotteries, carnivals, fireworks, eye-popping discounts and bargains! It remains to add that the program of festive events is traditionally published on the official website of the Dubai Trade Festival www.mydsf.ae, and with all additional questions you can contact the Ahlan Dubai service toll-free at 600545555.
