It would seem that the eleventh year in a row - the same thing - summer, Modhesh, the festival, what can you come up with a new, extraordinary? It turned out that it was not only possible, but they also came up with! Hotels and shopping centers compete in the most creative approaches to entertaining the public on the hot days of the harsh Dubai summer. The capital is also not far behind. Having joined the summer marathon last year, the Abu Dhabi shopping malls and hotels attract guests with entertainments and special offers for every taste.
The grand opening of the traditional summer festival was fun and easy, in a “no ties” setting and lasted 12 hours! The Mall of the Emirates, beloved by all, took upon himself pleasant chores, and the new trading giant Dubai Mall presented the whole day of surprises on the opening day. Parades of clowns on stilts, colorful processions of musicians, jugglers, acrobats, mummers, performances of life-size puppets representing favorite cartoon characters ended with a prize draw and cash lotteries and "distribution of elephants", that is, souvenirs. The winners were given the opportunity to spend days off at the Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates, accept a range of Spa treatments and give gift vouchers worth 10 thousand dirhams.
The opening is not the whole holiday, themed weeks will not leave indifferent visitors to numerous Dubai shopping centers. A "Modhesh World" (Modhesh World) has always collected under its roof, and children and adults. Moreover, parents do not remain just idle observers, they are happy to spin on the carousels, together with the children, win prizes and watch a variety of shows.
The complex "Airport Expo", which has provided its vast territory for active children's games, creative workshops, colorful theatrical performances and training programs, is located in a convenient place at the intersection of the main city roads and has a large parking lot for cars. At the entrance to the entertainment halls, shopping malls with souvenirs, handmade crafts, jewelry and national symbols were placed. A wide range of snacks and drinks, presented by numerous cafes and vending machines, will satisfy the hunger and thirst of the audience at any time.
Performances in the "Modhesh World" traditionally gather full halls. And this year - a full house! Artists from the cities of Russia, as always, were engaged by the company Tatyana Entertainment in Dubai under the leadership of Tatyana Frederick. Two unforgettable performances - “Gulf Dream” and “Magic Toy Store” will be seen by viewers this summer. Young gymnasts, acrobats, balancers, jugglers confidently perform along with adult professional circus artists in these colorful musical productions.
The fairy tale performance of “Gulf Dream” in the original source is called “The Great Sea Adventure” and is part of the triptych about the protection of nature, telling, in a way accessible to children, about the inhabitants of the underwater world. A voice-over in English duplicates the actions taking place on stage, which creates an even greater illusion of a dream that a little girl sees, and smoke effects imitate the smooth, as if slightly blurred, seabed lines. Children vividly react to what is happening on the stage, striving to climb onto the platform and help good heroes, respond to the cues of the artists and catch fleeing predatory fish in the hall, interfering with measured sea life. At the end of the performance, everyone can go backstage to take memorable pictures with wonderful artists from distant Russia. 
Talking about wonderful costumes, lighting and sound effects, beautiful music and talent of actors is a thankless task. Better, after all, to see once. And then, come back to the “Modhesh World” to study, play and have fun in the company of this sunny little man - an unchanging symbol of the Dubai summer festivals.
If you go shopping in the city's shopping centers, then there are many interesting things waiting for you. Shows of national women's dresses "Sheila and Abaya", culinary and song contests, "Oasis of Arts", "World of Fairy Tales", a lot of theatrical performances and so on and on. Do not forget that the best restaurants and cafes of the city will gladly treat you to the best dishes from the summer menu.

For the third year in a row, more than 30 leading spa centers of the city have been actively participating in the festival program.
