Nissan and Prodrift Academy set a new world record for pair drift

Nissan Concern, together with the Prodrift Academy driving school, set a new world record for pair drift, simultaneously drifting 28.52 km.

On December 14, a new world record was set in the Global Village amusement park in Dubai, which fell into the Guinness Book of Records, the longest parallel drift in the world.

An attempt to set a record was made by Nissan and the Prodrift Academy driving school. According to representatives of the Prodrift Academy, drifting has become extremely popular in recent years in the Middle East, so the champions set out to provide a safe and legal environment for all motorsport enthusiasts.

The participants had a difficult task - to break the previous record of 25 km. However, the first attempt was unsuccessful - the riders managed to cover only 16 km, after which the mechanics of the team removed the bumpers and engine hoods from the cars. The second time was successful - the judge recorded 28.52 km of parallel drift - the next record in the Guinness Book of Records in the UAE piggy bank!
