The 4th issue was launched with fanfare on the evening of December 9 at the amphitheater of the luxurious Dubai hotel complex Madinat Jumeirah with a combination of Hollywood and regional celebrities.
The festival program included more than 130 films from all over the world. The competition program, covering exclusively the work of filmmakers of Arab origin, was divided into three categories - “Feature Films”, “Documentary Films” and “Short Films”. Each category contains 12 paintings.
There were twelve categories of non-competitive programs this year. Six were selected for the gala premiere. The festival was opened by the detective thriller "Michael Clayton" / Michael Clayton / directed by Tony Gilroy with George Clooney in the title role. The cinema forum lasted eight days - from December 9 to December 16.
