We asked several questions to the head of the "Professional School of Stylists" Lyudmila Harlakina.
- What exactly will students in your faculty do? - The training program provides for theoretical and practical training, as well as the development of related specialties: makeup artists, hairdressers, nail design specialists, image makers. Everyone knows that the profession of stylist is very much in demand today, since both women and men began to carefully monitor their appearance, look after their face, hair, hands.
- What time is the training course designed for? - We plan to conduct the course in four stages in four specialties, both separately and in combination. In total, training will take approximately six months.
- Please tell us in more detail what future stylists need to know? - I will train students in professional makeup techniques in various areas: from everyday, evening, wedding and age to special types of makeup for video and photography, Face-art and Bodyart art, catwalk makeup and so on. The nail art training program provides for the study of various types of manicure, as well as techniques for building, designing and painting nails. A special program for hairdressing includes all the necessary skills and modern techniques necessary to create fashionable and stylish hairstyles. The head of another course, called the School of the Studio "Diamonds of the East" is Elena Korotkova, a professional dancer, choreographer, director, model.
- Elena, please tell us about your course? - In our school-studio, we offer training in two main areas: basic choreographic training with optimal fitness load based on traditional Arabic dance; specialized training for professional belly dancers (belle-dance).
- Whom do you expect to teach? - The basic program of fitness and learning the technique of "belly dance" is designed for women of all ages with the most different levels of preparedness. There are no contraindications and restrictions for classes. We will be glad to see everyone who wants to be engaged. The training course is designed for those who are already familiar with this type of art.
- Elena, in your opinion, is there any prospect of your students performing at concert venues in the UAE? - Of course have. For several years now I have been the head of the show group "Diamonds of the East" in Russia and I am thinking of creating an equally brilliant and successful ensemble here in the UAE.
- Please tell us more about the creation of a modeling agency? - First of all, this is the creation of a databank of models who want to make a career in the fashion industry. This includes the creation of your own portfolio, and work on the image, and training in the model step. Our models will be fully prepared for work. But the most important thing is the cool specialists who will conduct classes with the future "stars" of the podium - choreographers, trainers, stylists. The work of the faculty of further education will begin next school year, but today I invite girls and women of all ages to study at the Diamonds of the East studio, as well as potential models for casting.
- What is the form of your cooperation with the Russian University in Dubai (branch of St. Petersburg INJECON)? - Students and teachers of the Russian University in Dubai are active participants in our programs. On the basis of a bilateral agreement on cooperation between the International Academy of Oriental Culture and the Russian University, we will issue our students both state diplomas and diplomas of the International Oriental Culture Academy.
