This December, the first modest fashion week will be held in Dubai.

The world-famous "Modest Fashion Week" will debut in Dubai this December.

After success in Istanbul and London, "Modest Fashion Week" arrives in Dubai. The debut of Dubai Modest Fashion Week (DMFM) will be held December 8 through 9 at Burj Park, Downtown Dubai.

The event is organized by Think Fashion (creators of Modest Fashion Weeks) in conjunction with Red Connect. It will demonstrate the latest trends in modest fashion - eclectic combinations from famous and novice designers from around the world.

DMFW is partnered with Emaar Properties, Modanisa.com and the Wardah Beauty brand. The week is also supported by Dubai Islamic Development Center, Thomson Reuters, premium label Doris Dorothea and The College of Fashion Design Dubai.

Fashion Week is dedicated to the design of modest fashion in the Middle East and outside the region. It informs women from all walks of life that modesty in clothing is, above all, a stylish choice. In recent years, modest fashion is gaining popularity around the world. Modest clothes take the place of the main wardrobe, and international designers release collections on the occasion of Ramadan.

As part of the DMFW, 30 fashion shows will be held from 5 continents, 60 booths for brands, interactive seminars, as well as exhibitions of fashion and art will be organized. The Emerging Modest Fashion Designer Award will allow aspiring designers to showcase their collections on the catwalk.

The event will begin with an impressive opening ceremony and an exclusive show. Well-known brands and designers will appear on the DMFW catwalk this weekend. On Friday, December 8th, fans will be able to attend live performances from Huw Roman, the leading fashion designer in Japan, to see prestigious leather handbags from Doris Dorothea, cult brands Fllumae-USA, Sumayya & SSS from Indonesia and the famous German designer Meriy Lebdiri with her brand Mizaan.

On Saturday, December 9, the famous Kuwaiti brand Anotah, as well as the first Indian designer Abai Murzilin Pirzada, the Malaysian label Aere and the luxurious Australian brand Anjilla Seddeqi will appear on the catwalk. On the last day, the exclusive Wardah Beauty Show will also be held with the participation of the most popular designers around the world.

“After Istanbul and London, we see Dubai as a modest fashion center in the Persian Gulf region and we can't wait to see modest fashion designers from around the world in this truly innovative city this December,” said Frank Soria, co-founder of Modest Fashion Weeks (Istanbul-London-Dubai) and co-founder of Think Fashion.

Ozlem Шахahin, co-founder of Modest Fashion Weeks, adds: “The idea of Modest Fashion Week is the international participation of innovative designers who prove that trends and fashion go hand in hand. Dubai Modest Fashion Week will be an event of the year that defends the diversity of the industry and creates additional opportunities for business. "
