Jumeirah will open a new hotel on the "cultural island" of Abu Dhabi

The Jumeirah hotel group will open at least five new hotels in 2018 and will renovate one hotel in Dubai.

Dubai-based Jumeirah hotel group said it will open at least five new hotels in 2018, including its first properties in Bahrain, Oman and Bali.

The company also plans to renew and reopen the Jumeirah Beach Hotel in Dubai next year for its 21st birthday.

New hotels include Jumeirah Royal Saray, Bahrain, Jumeirah Sa'adiyat Island, Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi, Jumeirah Bali, Indonesia, Jumeirah Nanjing, China and Jumeirah Muscat Bay, Oman.

“Our strong performance in 2017 shows our robust and promising business strategy, and we are confident in continuing our success story in new markets in 2018,” said Linda Lewis, vice president of international sales.
