Primorsky district JBR refused to show New Year's fireworks.
Dubai, UAE. A major Dubai-based developer Meraas has refused to organize traditional New Year's fireworks in the JBR, La Mer and Al Seef areas, the developer said.
Earlier, another developer, Emaar, made a similar statement, saying that on New Year's Eve, traditional salutes from the Burj Khalifa skyscraper will be replaced by a laser and water show.
It should be noted that the areas of Burj Khalifa, Burj Al Arab, The Palm, Festival City, JBR and Global Village have always been traditional for the New Year for lovers of mass festivities in Dubai.
