In the Al Montazah Park of the Emirate of Sharjah, new attractions will appear.
The Emirate’s Shurooq Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq), UAE, has featured many of the attractions and amenities that will appear during the second phase of the development of Al Montazah Park worth over 100 million dirhams ($ 27.2 million).
Shurooq announced that the capacity of the new entertainment park has been increased to 10 thousand guests, and the water park - up to 7 thousand.
Ahmad Obaid Al Kashir, COO of Shurooq, said: "We will re-open Al Montazah in a new way with attractions that will take the level of entertainment for guests to a whole new level."
Shurooq announced that the water park in Al Montazah will open in February 2018, and the amusement park in the second quarter of 2018.
In a speech by Khalid Ebrahim Al-Qasir, Al Montazah's manager, the details of the new water park attraction, Pearls Kingdom, were announced. Khalid Al-Qasir noted that the water park already has 35 attractions, a wave pool with more than 200 visitors, a tower with new slides and a playground for up to 110 children from four to 14 years old.
Talking about a new amusement park in Al Montazah, Al Qasir explained that his name, Island of Legends, is inspired by a story based on time travel across nine countries. He noted that the park will be replenished with 26 attractions from the world's largest manufacturers from Europe and North America.
