In Dubai, introduced the world's first floating kitchen

The first of its kind, a floating kitchen will move around Dubai, delivering food on orders.

The first floating kitchen in the world will start operating in Dubai later this month. The principle of its work is based on the concept of food trucks. The kitchen will serve passengers of maritime transport.

“We started this project back in May last year,” said Ahmad Yusuf, founder of Aquatic Architects Design Studio, chief consultant and builder of Aqua Pod, “The goal is to bring the idea of a food truck on land to the so-called floating kitchen, which serves people in maritime transport, not in cars. "

Yusuf said the Aqua Pod will start work in Jumeirah and cover areas such as Al Sufouh and Kite Beach. He explained that the Aqua Pod will be able to move according to consumer demand.

There are two systems for placing an order. The first method is the flag method. Flags are delivered to vehicles around the kitchen. When people want to place an order, they raise their flag, and a jet ski rides for them with food. People can also book directly from the Aqua Pod, stopping their boat or jet ski near the kitchen. This method is intended for small sea transport vessels.

Today, Aqua Pod offers customers hamburgers, as it is the most convenient food in terms of serving.

Yusuf also emphasized that the electric Aqua Pod is built with sustainability in mind: it is equipped with a system that collects any garbage found in the sea.
