Vladikavkaz Airport will increase the number of flights to the UAE

The head of North Ossetia ordered to increase the number of flights to the United Arab Emirates.

The head of North Ossetia, Vyacheslav Bitarov, instructed the leadership of the Vladikavkaz airport to increase the number of flights to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the press service of the head and government of the republic said.

"Given the seasonality and demand, the number of departures from the republic’s capital to the resorts of Turkey and the UAE should increase. The presence of a large number of representatives of the Transcaucasian states in North Ossetia makes flights to these destinations in demand," said Bitarov.

In 2021, the airport building was overhauled. In the next three months they will develop a plan for the phased development of the airport for eight to ten years, the airport management notes. In 2018, passenger traffic will increase by 15% compared to 2017. For this, existing business contacts with aviation companies will be used to the maximum.
