The United Arab Emirates is delaying the introduction of a "certificate of good conduct" for expat workers.
The UAE has postponed the introduction of the “certificate of good conduct” requirement until further notice.
Recall, we are talking about a certificate of no criminal record for foreign workers. Such a document became mandatory for presentation in February, but the decision of the authorities was postponed from today, April 1, 2018.
Earlier, the ministry denied rumors that the certificate is no longer required for representatives of certain nationalities.
Any expat who arrives in the UAE to work must provide a certificate issued to him at home before receiving a visa. When changing jobs in the UAE, a certificate is not required.
