Dubai's new park will be available for free

The new park with a "cave of wonders" in Dubai will offer free entry for everyone.

The upcoming Quran Park in Dubai will offer free admission, director general of Dubai Municipality Daud Abdul Rahman Al-Hajiri said on Monday.

A fee will be charged for those who want to visit two special sections in the park.

“It will be an open park - without walls - allowing everyone to enjoy its amenities. A fee of 10 dirhams $ US 2.7 will be charged for entering the“ Cave of Miracles ”and“ Glass House, ”Al-Hajiri said.

The municipality has not yet announced the opening date of the park.

“The creation of Quran Park is a great achievement for Dubai, and it will be one of the most unique and memorable attractions in the emirate,” he said.

Al-Hajiri noted that the park will provide an excellent opportunity to explain many of the wonders, as well as the benefits of the plants mentioned in the Qur'an. He will also demonstrate how modern medicine relies heavily on them to treat various ailments.

"Among the most important elements of the project is the Glass House, containing plants mentioned in the Qur'an and Sunnah that grow at certain temperatures and in special environmental conditions," he said.

The Cave of Miracles demonstrates the seven wonders mentioned in the Qur'an using modern interactive technologies.

The park also consists of 12 gardens. Information kiosks will be installed in each of them, which will tell you about all types of plants and trees in them. The park will be equipped with solar panels, Wi-Fi, telephone charging stations and shaded seating for visitors.

“The strategic project, covering an area of 60 hectares, aims to present the values of Islam, which is a religion of tolerance, love and peace,” Al-Hajiri added.
