Dubai's new safari park closes for five months

The newly opened Dubai Safari Park is closing for modernization.

The safari park in Dubai, which opened at the end of last year, is waiting for modernization work. In this regard, the attraction closes its doors to visitors from May 15 to October 1.

The municipality of Dubai recently signed a cooperation agreement with the developer Meraas, who, in turn, selected the Madrid operator Parques Reunidos to manage the park.

During the summer, the park is waiting for modernization, which, according to official statements, "will improve the experience of visiting attractions" through interactive interaction tools and new areas for animals.

“In line with our commitment to offering superior customer experience, updates seek to provide a better living environment for our animals and a more interactive and educational experience for our visitors,” the statement said.

More than 2.5 thousand animals live in the park now. Only in March this number was replenished with 175 newborn inhabitants.
