The airline announced the innovation by sending customers e-mail messages. The option applies to tickets at Economy Deal, Economy Saver, Economy Classic fares.

As in many other airlines, passengers can choose a seat for free during online check-in, when less than a day is left before the flight. In this regard, the airline’s spokeswoman said: “Etihad Airways has introduced a new option for choosing a seat in the cabin for economy flights - customers can reserve a seat one day before departure for a small fee. Moreover, when there is less than a day left before departure, you can reserve a seat no extra charge. "

The airline will also keep current fees for the selection of seats in the front of the cabin and seats with extra legroom.

Starting July 15, early booking of a seat in the front of the aircraft will cost 130 dirhams, seats with extra legroom - 520 dirhams, a standard seat -100 dirhams.

It is noteworthy that the right to free early booking of seats is reserved for passengers purchasing tickets under Economy Flex fare.
