Sheikh Mohammed criticized the work with staff in government offices of the UAE

Sheikh Mohammed expressed dissatisfaction with the work with employees in several government agencies.

The UAE Vice President warned some government agencies about low employee satisfaction. The Sheikh gave the heads of departments six months to increase his assessment, saying that "the happiness of employees is the key to the happiness of citizens."

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Prime Minister, Vice President of the UAE and ruler of Dubai, criticized five government agencies on Twitter after only 60% of employees said they were satisfied with their employer.

Sheikh Mohammed said that he had analyzed the work of 40 departments, in some of the departments the level of employee satisfaction reached 93%.

“Civil servants are the most valuable capital for government agencies,” Sheikh Mohammed tweeted.

Earlier this month, Sheikh Mohammed announced the adoption of a series of measures for officials in Dubai, aimed at ensuring a "favorable working environment."

"The new law relayes the government’s task to provide more favorable conditions for employees to make them happier," the ruler emphasized on Twitter.

The ruler of Dubai is known for his transparent approach to improving the efficiency of government departments. In 2016, he issued the resignation of nine officials from the Dubai Municipality.
