Vegan burgers are added to the menu of one of Dubai’s restaurants, which look and smell like a meat dish.
The American Bareburger branch in Dubai, located in La Mer, added to its menu an unusual dish - a vegan b12 burger with blood that looks exactly like a hamburger with a beef cutlet.
If you cut this burger in half, it will really leak “blood”, however, in fact, it is beetroot juice.
The first burger tasters were delighted with the texture and aroma of the dish. Many expect it to become popular not only among vegetarians.
“The target audience for this product is not only vegetarians, but also people who eat meat,” confirms Euripides Pelekanos, Executive Director and Founder of Bareburger.
Now many people are changing products of animal origin to alternative in their diet, and B12 in this regard appeared in time.
Burger B12 contains peas, the already mentioned beetroot juice for color, as well as coconut oil and potato starch for juiciness. Unlike experimental products "grown" using animal cells, this hamburger is completely made from plants.
For many, a significant disadvantage of a vegan diet is the cost of food. However, the B12 burger costs $ US 12 - $ US 13, which compares favorably with other offers in this category.
A blood burger will be available at four Bareburger restaurants in the UAE, including three in Dubai and one in Abu Dhabi. Perhaps B12 will also go to supermarket shelves.
