Churches in the UAE lined up kilometer-long lines for tickets for a meeting with Pope Francis.
Dubai, UAE. More than 10 thousand people gathered at the St. Mary's Church in Dubai to get tickets for the upcoming meeting with Pope Francis. The head of the Catholic Church will perform on February 5, in Abu Dhabi, at Zayed Sports City Stadium.
50 thousand parishioners have already registered for the meeting with a maximum stadium capacity of 43 thousand seats. Distribution of tickets for the meeting began on January 28, when kilometer lines formed near the temples.
Meeting tickets are free of charge (until February 1). For all comers, a shuttle service to Abu Dhabi and vice versa will also be arranged.
