Emirate Fat Brothers Films has released its first full-length film, Aerials, which is also designated as the first emirate sci-fi movie.
Events take place in Dubai and take place both on the streets of the city and in the house of local residents - the Arab husband, played by the Saga Aliaseri, and his foreign wife, whose role was played by Anna Druzhinina. According to the plot, the metropolis is attacked by aliens, and urban residents learn to live in new conditions.
“The film does not have a clear idea, everyone will see something different,” said director S. A. Zaidi. “Our main idea was to show the cultural diversity of the Emirates, the country to which we came from Iraq, Pakistan and Europe or grew here” .
Dialogues in English and Arabic are heard in the picture; Indian, European and Arabic music are used as the soundtrack. According to the director, the main problems of filmmaking in the UAE that exist today are humid weather, which complicates street shooting, the lack of sufficient sound collections for films in studios, and the search for actors for feature films.
