Holiday Tents

During Ramadan, many hotels and restaurants set up festive tents. In order to feel the spirit of this month in the Emirates you need to visit at least one of them. Iftar is often served in such tents, which is gradually replaced by suhur (eating before sunrise). During Suhur, you can listen to folk Arabic music, usually played on traditional instruments, play backgammon and, of course, smoke a hookah. One of the biggest tents in Dubai is Asatir at Atlantis Hotel on Palm Jumeirah. Each year, the awning offers an unforgettable culinary experience, traditional live music in oud (a stringed musical instrument common in the Middle East) and much more.

Iftar Time: from sunset to 20:30

Price: 220 dirhams, including water and traditional drinks of Ramadan

Sukhur time: 21:30 - 02:30

Price: order drinks and food on the menu for a minimum of 160 dirhams (hookah for an extra charge)

Important: entrance to the tent during Suhur is only for guests from 21 years and above, pregnant women should not be in the tent while serving Suhur.
