Restaurant Overview

Brasserie quartier

Located in the heart of Dubai's culinary life, the Brasserie Quartier French Restaurant at St. Regis Dubai is a lively place with a modern, comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. In the adjacent patisserie, you can enjoy a cup of coffee and enjoy a delicious cake.

The establishment has the charm and grace that distinguishes all the restaurants of the St. Regis. The menu is varied, but we were attracted by one restaurant program, which can only be tasted on Thursdays, the Tasting Table.

The idea of the tasting table is that you can try all the specialties at a time. The chef will offer you five of the best snacks, five main dishes and five desserts, which can be combined with a glass of red or white homemade wine.

The undoubted advantage of this proposal is that companies or couples do not have to puzzle over what to order. Everything has already been done for you - you can comfortably sit down and enjoy a plentiful dinner (believe me, despite the small portions of the dishes themselves, their number will be more than sufficient). The offer price is only 240 dirhams, so the number of people who want to come to this French place after a working week on Thursday is quite large. It is better to book a table in advance.

The offer is valid every Thursday.

Al muntaha

Today, Al Muntaha (which means "the best" in translation) is perhaps one of the most photographed establishments in the Emirates. Located on the top floor of the 7-star Burj Al Arab Hotel, the restaurant recently presented a new menu. Guests can take a gastronomic journey in an elliptical room with windows overlooking the Persian Gulf, Palm Jumeirah and Bourge Khalifa at the same time, of course, if they are ready to rise to a height of 200 meters - such mesmerizing views can only be compared to a sumptuous menu. The Al Muntaha team worked together on the idea of seasonal dishes made with both local produce and sourced from all over the world. The original menu has become an innovative version of modern French cuisine. We especially recommend trying beef tartar, stewed octopus, Alaskan crab and an excellent apple cake.

Totora Cebicheria Peruana

Peruvian cuisine marches triumphantly on the gastronomic map of Dubai. The latest discovery is the Totora restaurant at DIFC. A modern two-story restaurant, a chill-bar and a lounge with a DJ have already made this place popular among the city’s advanced trendsetters.

The modern design for the new institution was developed by the famous Lebanese architect and furniture designer Fadi Sarieddine. The total area of the restaurant is 6000 square meters, and the capacity is 185 people.

Of course, in a Peruvian restaurant you simply must order a ceviche, otherwise your idea of this cuisine will be incomplete.

So what is ceviche? These are pieces of fish or seafood marinated in citrus juice and traditionally served with sweet potatoes, corn and tortillas. In Totora, all ceviche are freshest and of the highest quality. Try either the classic Ceviche Natural, or tuna - Nikkei. However, in addition to seafood dishes, you will not be mistaken if you order a duck or a lamb. Surprisingly, you might want to come back here for desserts. We especially recommend the Tres Leches three-milk cake and the Aguaymanto Garden Panacotta, one of the best in the city.

Mint leaf of london

Well-established as one of Dubai's most stylish establishments, the Mint Leaf of London, located at DIFC, is known for its first-class Indian cuisine. We went there to test the new menu from the chef, which offers a huge selection of seafood dishes - Chef's Catch menu. You don’t have to choose anything - you just come, sit down at a table (preferably by the window) and enjoy a program prepared in advance for you by Chef Vivek Kashiwale.

Tasting dishes from the sea menu are offered daily, from lunch until late in the evening at a price of 299 dirhams per person, which is quite acceptable.

However, we immediately warn - there will be a lot of food, so it is better to come very hungry. You will be served several full snacks, several hot dishes and dessert. You can taste sewing scallops with greens, South Indian crab cakes, kochi lobster neck with sea bass chutney, Omani lobster neck seasoned with cardamom and saffron, served with sea bass and saffron sauce, kulambu cod - a delicious cod treat based on spicy tamarind, shrimp biryani and much more.

We recommend tasting dessert in the lounge area of the restaurant, where you can relax in soft chairs and enjoy the magnificent view from the panoramic windows of Bourges Khalifa and Downtown.

The restaurant's design also deserves special praise - it is decorated with dark tiles in combination with red carved wood and black and white photographs. Woven patterns and stenciled motifs on the walls, ceiling and furniture in soft cream and beige colors soothe and immerse in the era of Indian Maharajas.
