Text: Natalia Remmer THE ART RUSSE FOUNDATION'S COLLECTION IS ONE OF THE LARGEST PRIVATE ASSEMBLIES OF SOVIET ART, COMBINING WORKS OF OUTSTANDING ARTISTS OF THE PERIOD FROM 1917 TO 1991. MORE THAN DECEMBER 15, MORE THAN 120 WORKS FROM A UNIQUE MEETING ARE EXHIBITED AT EMIRATES PALACE HOTEL IN ABU DHABI WITHIN THE EXPOSITION "SOVIET ART: WAR AND PEACE".
The works presented at the exposition show the most diverse aspects of Russian life throughout the 20th century: from the legacy of wars and revolutions to peace, family and labor. The exhibition consists of four thematic sections: "The Legacy of War", "Nature and Beauty", "Meditations" and "Labor", which combine the work of artists of different generations.
