And the sun rises ...

Throughout the summer, a retrospective screening of the films "And the Sun Rises ..." will be held in the A4 Space art space.

The project is implemented by the Alserkal Avenue Creativity Center and the Cinema Akil cinema platform. The festival program includes films that tell about sunlight and the sun in all its many manifestations. Thirteen films from around the world span the entire universe of cinematic styles and genres, including science fiction, drama and comedy.

The festival will last until the end of August. In June, viewers could enjoy the “Sun” by Alexander Sokurov (Russia, 2005), “In the Bright Sun” by Rene Clement (France, 1960) and “Duel under the Sun” by King Widor (USA, 1946). In July, all guests of A4 Space will be waiting for: "The Sun in the Quince Tree Foliage" by Victor Erice (Spain, 1993) - July 1, 2, 3 at 21:00; "Little Miss Happiness" by Jonathan Dayton (USA, 2006) - July 8, 9 and 10 at 9 p.m .; the famous "Sunset Boulevard" by Billy Wilder (USA, 1950) - July 15 and 16 at 21.00; "Burnt by the Sun" by Nikita Mikhalkov (Russia, 1994) - from July 22-24 at 19.00; "The coming to power of Louis XIV" by Roberto Rossellini (France, 1966) - from July 29 to July 31 at 19.00; Empire of the Sun by Steven Spielberg.
