The Government of Dubai is launching a major project for the construction of the covered city of Aladdin in the historical part of the emirate, which will be completely erected on the water above the old trading port. The project was carried out in Eastern traditions with an abundance of "golden" designs and openwork forging. The three main towers, the highest of which will rise 450 meters, will resemble an old oriental oil lamp, an elegant jug, an incense bottle.
In the "City of Aladdin" there will be a residential complex, a hotel, a business center, an entertainment park and an abundance of shops, restaurants and cafes. It will be equipped with separately located parking lots that fit organically into the ensemble, and moving from building to building during the hot summer months will be facilitated by special indoor galleries that will connect all the buildings with an elegant "golden chain". The emirate’s authorities hope that “the project has come from ancient legends, but built according to the technologies of the future” and will appeal to both businessmen and tourists.
