A 5-meter-long marine crocodile weighing 750 kg, along with its companion, became the new pet of the Dubai Zoo and Aquarium at The Dubai Mall. One of the largest reptiles in the world came from Australia: a 40-year-old crocodile is expected to live in conditions identical to natural, another about 50 years. Of course, the reptile, which does not yet have a name, has become the largest inhabitant of the Dubai Aquarium. Only his head weighs about 150 kg, and each of the 60 teeth-blades exceeds the index finger in length.
The Dubai Zoo is sure that the pet will succeed among the audience. In the recent past, the administration launched a special educational program for schoolchildren so that they can get to know the animals that have inhabited the Earth for 60 million years.
