Swiss manufacturer Roger Dubuis presented the long-awaited novelty - Excalibur Quatuor at the Geneva International Salon of High Watchmaking. This is the first watch in the world with four balances, the creation of which took several years. Four balance wheels maximally compensate for the effect of gravity on the clock.
The power reserve indicator has been made interesting: two curly crescent-shaped scales rotate at the same speed as the clockwork drums, making 4½ turns per day. The indicator arrow also moves, but more slowly. As the energy of the winding springs is consumed, the speed of the arrow changes, accurately indicating the range.
