10 “golden rules” for traveling with children, or how not to become a hostage to their offspring from 5 to 11 years during their holidays

Rule 1 Teach children to be responsible. Most often, parents on travel can not cope with children who demand to buy them absolutely everything that meets on the way. Allocate to the child a certain amount of money that he can spend, and explain that there will be no more. This will help pacify his wastefulness.

Rule 2 Luggage packing. Always bring two sets of any clothing with you, be it swimwear, shorts, shoes or shirts. They will never wear it, even if they do something that was not part of the original plans.

Rule 3 First aid. Always bring a first aid kit with you. Young children are often injured, even for trifles.

Rule 4 Warm clothing. If you are flying on an airplane, bring sweaters and sweatshirts with you. Then the kids will not catch a cold and will not get sick during the flight.

Rule 5 Camp lunch. With you on a flight you need to take food for the child. He is hungry already in the waiting room. In addition, homemade breakfast will save on expensive snacks that are sold in the terminal or on board. This is especially true for budget carriers.

Rule 6 Toys Always bring your favorite children's toys with you, at least a couple of them. It is a good idea to grab goggles or a mask, as well as flippers, so that the child can swim and dive in the pool.

Rule 7 The keys. At the hotel, order additional keys for each of the children so that they can return to their room when they need it. However, make sure they are stored in a safe place.

Rule 8 Means of communication. Stock up on a walkie-talkie for every child. Then you can always keep track of what they are doing, even if they are not in your field of vision.

Rule 9 Group tour. If traveling in a large tourist group by bus, never let the child go far away from you and do not lose sight of him so that he does not have a chance to get lost.

Rule 10 Comfort. Take with you only those things in which the child will be comfortable. It is advisable to carry clothes and shoes before the trip, because during the holidays the child will always be in motion.
