Mankind has always tried to keep CHARACTER EVER escapes TIME smell, sound, art, architecture, fashion ... case you ever RECOGNIZE time - and past and future, the dropdown unique flavor first from one bottle, then from others, UNTIL EVERYTHING IT DOESN'T FIT IN A UNIQUE COLLECTION OF AROMAS? HOUSE "CHANEL MADE SUCH AN ATTEMPT AND NOW, WE HAVE TIME TINY TRANSFERRED IN EXCLUSIVE SPIRITS. THEY ALLOW US TO RETURN DURING THE GREAT TIME OF WHICH SHALL BEEN SO MUCH ...

Back in 2010, CHANEL House created a unique collection of 12 exclusive fragrances called “Les Exclusifs De Chanel”. Each of them is associated with life's ups and downs and the unique fate of the most magnificent Mademoiselle Gabrielle. In them, and love, and passion, and flirtation, and travel .... Each fragrance is a dedication to a person or place that was inexpressibly dear to the heart of Coco Chanel. What is true in her life, that fiction, we are not given to know.

The official story told by the biographers of this amazing woman is unlikely to exactly coincide with what actually happened. However, leaving us a legacy of a new image of a modern woman and completely rebellious aromas, this lady deserved the title of Great. And today we can afford the pleasure of enjoying perfumes, many of which were created during her lifetime by the best perfumers in Russia and France ... Yes, and Russia too. However, more on that later.

So, first in the exclusive collection “Les Exclusifs De Chanel”, developed in 2010 by the genius staff perfumer of the House of Chanel Jacques Polge, the following perfumes were included:

Beige - light floral with honey chords, exquisite in its simplicity, because Coco Chanel herself considered the beige color so natural that passion and sensuality can be hidden behind it.

Chanel No. 22 (1922) - clouds of air tulle and rain from flower petals; lighter version of world famous Chanel No. 5.

Gardenia (1925) - weightless aromas of a bouquet of white flowers. Coco Chanel has always loved camellias, but these amazing flowers are odorless, so the fragrance of gardenia, the closest "relative" of camellias, is the basis of this perfume.

Bois Des Iles (1926) - the heyday of the Art Deco, an invitation to travel. Sweet and languid notes of precious wood and exotic ylang-ylang.

Cuir De Russie (1927) - the love story of Coco Chanel and the great Russian prince Dmitry Romanov, embodied in perfume. Elegant notes of musk, tobacco, jasmine and birch bark.

Eau De Cologne (1929) - a popular and memorable aroma of citrus fruits and neroli with light floral notes.

31 Rue Cambon - a mystical, sensual and elegant floral chypre fragrance dedicated to the famous address in Paris at which Chanel House is located.

Chanel No. 18 is another famous address - 18, Place Vandome, where Chanel presented her first jewelry collections, reflected in a sparkling diamond shine with notes of flowers and amber.

Coromandel - Oriental and Amber. They got their name in honor of the exquisite lacquered Chinese screens that decorated the apartments of the legendary Coco.

Bel Respiro is a fresh and sunny scent filled with the smells of mowed grass and wildflowers that grew around Coco Chanel’s house, Bel Respiro, which she bought in southern France in 1920 and spent the happiest years of her life. 28 La Pausa is a dedication to yet another Coco Chanel villa, which she built on a plot purchased in 1928. Elegant, joyful and fresh aroma of irises.

Sycomore is a strong woody fragrance that embodies the spirit of freedom of Chanel House. The main ingredient is vetiver.

This collection, barely appearing on the shelves of Chanel brand stores and the world's leading department stores, turned the heads of the most ardent fans of the brand. And in the fall of 2011, to their great joy, another one appeared in the perfumery line of outstanding niche fragrances - Chanel Jersey, becoming the thirteenth and, apparently, happy.

The new fragrance is dedicated to a jersey woolen fabric, which in the hands of Coco Chanel herself from "indecent and rough folk fabric" for men's suits has turned into a very elegant and stylish thing. Mademoiselle Coco was able to masterfully present the best qualities of a jersey: softness and grace of texture, ease of processing and drapery, and most importantly, an incomparable feeling of comfort.

Perfumers of the company Jacques Polge and his assistant Christopher Sheldrake endowed the fragrant novelty with the elegance and lightness that jersey fabric has been giving since the 1920s and today to all fashionistas of the world.

According to Jacques Polge, it is best for the fragrant embodiment of the amazing nature of the fabric with the fate of Cinderella, lavender is suitable, the smell of which has long been also considered masculine and devoid of any sophistication.

The main ingredient in the Chanel Jersey formula is a very rare lavender variety grown near the city of Montpellier in southern France in small patches of land between the ocean and mountains. To obtain more beautiful, light and seductive notes, a unique essence extraction technology was applied: dry steam treatment.

The official notes of the floral woody musk composition - lavender, vanilla and white musk, weave the clean, fresh, soft and sweetly feminine harmony of Jersey, which is as comfortable and gentle as the amazing fabric, sung by Great Mademoiselle, hugs the body. The frame for the main melody is a shining grassy-floral background created from notes of tonka bean, rose and jasmine.

Chanel Jersey eau de toilette, like all previous flavors of the Chanel House’s exclusive niche collection, comes in clear glass bottles with a sleek design. The aroma went on sale in volumes of 75 ml and the usual 200 ml.

Returning to history, looking at this impressive list, it becomes clear that not all 13 aromas were created by our contemporaries.

Who stood at the origins of the Les Exclusifs De Chanel collection? To whom do we owe the appearance in 1921 of the legendary perfume Chanel No. 5? The name of this person is Ernest Eduardovich Bo.

He was born in Moscow and was the second son of a French perfumer who worked for the largest Russian cosmetics company, supplier of the Russian Imperial Court Alphonse Rallet & Co., which was acquired by Chiris from Grasse in 1898. Ernest Bo's life was full of ups and downs. However, he went down in history as the creator of the legendary aldehyde perfume Chanel No. 5. In addition to this, his genius also owns a whole set of aromas that brought worldwide fame to Chanel House. These include Gardenia, Bois de Isle, Cuir de Russie, Chanel No. 22.

What Monsieur Bo was remembered by his contemporaries? Stately and impressive, always impeccably dressed.

A connoisseur of champagne and a passionate collector of antiques. Hero-lover: in addition to two marriages, he had many novels. A fan of practical jokes and jokes. Resoner. And also a man who, using his connections, helped Russian emigrants to get a job in France. A person who makes a particle of Russia in the aromas of the French Chanel house itself ... The Les Exclusifs De Chanel collection seems to be the whole story of Chanel House, written in perfume. You can get acquainted with it in the UAE in the Harvey Nichols Gallery (Mall of the Emirates) and in the Chanel brand boutique in the Dubai Mall.

And about the ingenious perfumer of the twentieth century, Ernest Bo, his creations for Chanel and his "Russian spirits" Cuir de Russie from the collection of Les Exclusifs De Chanel, we will definitely talk in the next issue. Try not to miss. It will be interesting.
