Residents of the capital city did their best to help, but the word "theater" sounded unusual and unfamiliar to them, so they picked up words that were similar in sound, further confusing us in search of what we were looking for. But, everything is ever found, and the temple of Melpomene sparkling with lights appeared to the gaze of Dubai travelers.
A smart audience with flowers climbed the stone steps to the hall of the theater, friends met, strangers greeted, high and excited moods reigned in anticipation of a beautiful, unusual, new. The hall was filled with spectators, the lights went out, music sounded and the performance began.
The eldest group of the Fantasy-Ballet dance group replaced the younger one, one by one the distinguished guests - the young soloists of the Pisarev ballet - Vladimir Fomenko, Valery Popov, Stanislav Varankin and Roman Belgorodsky went on stage. The creator, leader and choreographer of the Fantasia group, Svetlana Al Neyadi, managed to create an amazing symbiosis of classical, modern and folk dance, with the participation of small artists, invited guests and the first Arab ballerina - Aliya Al Neyadi.
In the hall, among the audience, there were many admirers of the talent of young performers and their friends, who enthusiastically met not only dance numbers, but also every output of the entertainer on the stage. The international composition of the troupe prepared for the February performance the best numbers from its repertoire, the most diverse performances combining classical and modern ballet. The most striking performances of the senior ballet group include the mini-ballet Arabian Desert Waves and Arpeggiato, based on classical dance, but staged in modern style.
For the dancers of Fantasy Ballet, a joint performance with partners of the opposite sex was a serious test, which they passed with flying colors and gained successful professional experience. The artists tried very hard to convey to the viewer their idea, speaking without words to the beautiful classical music, modern, folk and national melodies. Full of creative inspiration, the Fantasy Ballet team is ready for new achievements, joint projects and non-banal productions. We wish them creative success!
