Departing from Dubai this weekend is recommended to arrive at the airport in advance.

Dubai International Airport awaits one of the busiest periods of the year over the coming week.

It is expected that more than 250 thousand people will arrive in Dubai from December 28 until the first days of the new year. 200 thousand travelers will leave the emirate in the same period. In addition, more than 350 thousand passengers will pass through special terminals of Emirates airline.

The busiest time for departures will start from the second half of January 1, 2018 and will continue through January 2 and 3.

Emirates urges its customers to check out at the airport in advance, given the road works taking place on major highways. Passengers are reminded that they must arrive at the airport at least three hours before the departure of the flight and check in no later than two hours, regardless of class of service.

Customers who check in less than 60 minutes before the scheduled flight departure will not be able to get on the plane. Passengers can also check in online 48 hours in advance and no later than 90 minutes before departure.
