Dubai, UAE. The office of the National Center for Space Research of France (Center National d'Etudes Spatiale, CNES) has opened in the capital of the United Arab Emirates. The discovery was the result of deepening cooperation between the two countries in space exploration. France became the first foreign country to open a similar office in the UAE.

The partnership will allow the parties to exchange experiences and implement a number of joint projects, in particular, jointly create a satellite to monitor climate change on Earth. In addition, the center will train specialized specialists: scientists, engineers, mathematicians and technologists for the needs of the space industry.
