At the IDEX-2019 salon in the United Arab Emirates, the Rosoboronexport booth began operating.
Dubai, UAE. On February 17, an arms exhibition IDEX-2019 began in the United Arab Emirates. 68 enterprises of the Russian military-industrial complex present their developments at the exhibition.
The Russian exposition is presented at the stands of Rosoboronexport, which is part of the Rostec state corporation, and at the stands of various enterprises, including Kalashnikov AO. At the Kalashnikov’s booth, AK machines of the newest 200 series - AK-200, AK-203, AK-204 and AK-205 will be demonstrated for the first time.
Among the new Russian developments, the BMD-4M airborne combat vehicle, the BTR-MDM multi-purpose landing armored personnel carrier, the BT-3F tracked amphibious armored personnel carrier, the Viking anti-aircraft missile system, and the elements of the Ratnik missile defense system are also noted.
Rosoboronexport is counting on the increased attention of foreign customers to the products of the corporation involved in real combat conditions during the anti-terrorist operation in Syria. This includes, but not limited to, Su-35 and MiG-29M fighters, Mi-28NE and Ka-52 combat helicopters, the T-90S tank, BMPT fire support combat vehicle, the Kornet-EM anti-tank missile system, and the electronic warfare complex against small-sized ones Repellent drones, as well as ships and submarines with integrated Caliber missile systems.
The Russian delegation at IDEX-2019 is headed by the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov. The delegation of Rostec enterprises is headed by Sergey Chemezov, General Director of the state corporation.
"The countries of the Middle East and North Africa are extremely important markets for us, in which we implement many projects both in the civilian fields and in the field of military-technical cooperation," notes Sergey Chemezov. "At IDEX-2019, our developments will show more "50 enterprises of the Russian military-industrial complex.
