Nearly 30 couples tied up during a big Dubai wedding

Nearly 30 couples from the staff of the three departments of the Dubai Municipality attended the Dubai Wedding ceremony, during which they held together the knot. The celebration took place in Zabeel Park, the costs of organizing the event were borne by the government department itself. The ceremony was attended by Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance of the UAE and Chairman of the Dubai Municipality. Its direct organizer was the Department of Corporate Marketing and Public Relations of the department. The purpose of the event is to facilitate the organization of a wedding for newlyweds and reduce the cost of its holding. According to Hussein Nasser Luta, Director General of the Dubai Municipality, this event is part of the concept of the country's state youth policy. "This is one of the methods to achieve the goals of the municipality in the formation of a progressive society with high living standards, strengthening the traditions of solidarity between people," he said.

In total, 58 people attended the ceremony, serving in the Dubai Municipality, the Dubai Health Authority, and the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities, DIACA. Khalid Ahmed Sheikh Mubarak, Deputy Director General of the Dubai Health Department, said: "We are pleased to attend this gala event and support its noble goal of promoting Islamic traditions and building a harmonious family life as the foundation of a healthy society." During the celebration, cultural events were held, including the performance of traditional Arabic songs and dances, a concert by a military band, a laser show and fireworks. The wedding was attended by numerous relatives of grooms and brides.
