Dubai Municipality will be equipped with gardens for senior residents of the emirate.
Dubai, UAE. The Dubai Municipality has announced plans to equip gardens in the homes of 15 senior residents of the emirate by the end of this year as part of an initiative to strengthen their mental and physical health.
The initiative has already received a positive response from those whose gardens were landscaped earlier: the elderly noted an increase in physical activity and an improvement in mood after a new activity appeared in their life - caring for their own garden.
The municipality noted that this initiative is a gift of gratitude to older people for their contribution to the development of the nation, as well as another step towards building a happy and sustainable society for all residents of the emirate.
