It should be recalled that Dubai Safari, which will occupy an area of 400 hectares, is located in Al Warqa 5 on the Aweer Road. Butterfly park, golf courses and entertainment complexes will also appear on its territory. The total construction cost is estimated at 150 million dirhams (US $ 40.1 million). There will be several sections in the zoo, including for African, Asian and Arab animals.
Especially for them, the corresponding landscape of natural zones, natural for their environment, will be reproduced. The project is based on the concept of zoos built in Singapore and Thailand.
It should be noted that the existing Dubai Zoo, located in the coastal area of Jumeirah, is the oldest in the region: it was built in 1970. More than 200 species of animals live here, some of which are rare.
